Pediatric cardiology

A particular focus of our practice is the care of newborns, children, and adolescents with heart disease.
Dr. Heineking has many years of experience and comprehensive expertise in this field, acquired at renowned pediatric cardiology centers.
Many of our young patients are referred to us for evaluation of a heart murmur. We offer short-notice appointments for this, especially for newborns.
For symptoms such as dizziness, sudden collapse, heart palpitations, or chest pain, we offer comprehensive and child-friendly cardiological evaluation – with plenty of time for questions and concerns.
Our focus is on providing holistic care for your child with heart disease – from medical diagnostics and counseling to
medication and support for your family in all matters relating to heart disease, always in consultation with the pediatric cardiology centers in Munich.

We also offer sports medicine examinations (IGeL, if applicable).

• 24-hour ECG
• 24-hour blood pressure measurement
• Sports fitness test
• Close monitoring of children with heart disease, e.g., after surgery or cardiac catheterization
• Advice on pediatric cardiology topics in general (sports, fitness, etc.)
• Preventive cardiology (for high blood pressure, lipid metabolism disorders, etc.)
